On Thursday 20, Carmen Posada will have a talk with Catherine McAndrew, coordinator of the Migrant Workers Solidarity Campaign of the Earth Workers Alliance.
The aim of this campaign is to hold supermarkets accountable for conditions on their suppliers’ farms, both internationally and in the UK. This campaign focuses on tackling the drivers of forced labour faced by farm workers recruited through the Seasonal Workers Scheme.
The Landworkers’ Alliance (LWA) is an organisation in the United Kingdom representing small farmers, growers, foresters and land-based workers established in 2012. The organisation campaigns for better food and land-use systems.
